So, what is this zen corner stuff? Is it nothing but another fancy marketing tactic? Nah.
For those of you who are into meditation, no explanation is required. But for those of you who aren’t familiar with the concept, a zen corner is a small space where you can focus and reconnect with yourself. Where can you find one? ANYWHERE. That’s the beauty of it.
We know that it’s difficult to find a good spot to meditate and chill. So here are a few tips and tricks that will help you make your own Zen corner at home!
Start with a meditation cushion. This large, flat cushion provides special support to your spinal cord, pelvis and back. It helps you bring out the yogi within you ;) Sitting on the floor with legs crossed for meditating is good. But sitting on a meditation cushion and meditating is great.
Put a pot of hot water on your stove and brew some green tea. Or idk, make a glass of green juice or something. Enjoy it in your cosy Zen corner.
Light up some scented candles, play ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ on repeat and enjoy.
Whether you want to focus or whether you just need a break from your boss’s everyday chikchik, meditating will help. And a Zen corner will make your experience even better.
