Responsibilities:
● Research and generate creative ideas for engaging content pieces, including blog posts, articles, website content, product descriptions, social media posts, and email newsletters.
● Write high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with our brand voice, style guidelines, and target audience preferences.
● Conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords and phrases naturally into content to improve search engine visibility and ranking.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that support marketing initiatives, promotions, and campaigns.
● Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand standards and editorial guidelines.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content writing, SEO, and digital marketing.
● Monitor and analyse the performance of content using analytics tools to track key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and optimise content strategies accordingly.
● Maintain a content calendar to organise and schedule content publication, ensuring timely delivery and consistency across channels.
● Work closely with designers, photographers, and other team members to create multimedia content that enhances the visual appeal and effectiveness of written content.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
● Proven experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter, preferably in the home decor, interior design, or related industry.
● Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
● Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for optimising content for search engines.
● Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), keyword research tools, and analytics platforms.
● Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for storytelling and brand storytelling.
● Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
